1996 was a good year for actress/model Ali Landry. The 5' 8" brown-eyed brunette won her state's beauty pageant (becoming Miss Louisiana) and went on to win the Miss USA pageant that same year. She also finished in the top six of the Miss Universe contest. A favorite of many young men, the 36C-24-34 natural beauty is also an aspiring actress.
Her biggest claim to fame as an actress remains to be a Doritos ad campaign in which she played the hottie walking through a library with a bag of the nacho chips, setting off the fire sprinklers as she passed dumbfounded onlookers. Since then Landry has moved on to a few minor acting roles, mainly in B-list television. To her credit, she has played Rita on the UPN series "Eve," Kenzie on the short-lived NBC soap "Sunset Beach," and Teri on the Naval drama "Pensacola: Wings of Gold."Landry was born on July 21, 1973, in the "Crawfish Capital of the World," Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. She majored in Mass Communications at the University of Southwestern Louisiana and is an avid athlete.
